Carolina cup

We are leaving Clemson right now headed manning. We are going to a buddies lake house for tonight and hanging on the lake tomorrow all day. On Saturday we are wakin up early and pregaming and then heading to Camden to the Carolina cup. Luckily we have a dd that is driving us to Camden and taking us home too. We are going back to the lake house after the race and then heading back up here Sunday afternoon. THis should be a fun weekend and it's gonna be a huge and funny party! Hopefully we don't get in any trouble

I have officially been on spring break now for 24 hours and yet i still am remembering to do my blog somehow lol. It is so nice to be in sunny Florida for spring break. I rode my mare earlier in the day and she was so good even though it was hot. I think I am about to go play a round of golf with my dad and a buddy of mine here in Ocala. Then i believe i am going to go to the rainbow river to do a little fishing and swim. The rainbow river is such a cool river because it is a spring river and it is crystal clear water that is always seventy degrees no matter how hot or cold the weather is. Well hope everyone has a good break.

Road work in pendleton

They need to hurry up and get the road repaved already!! It has already been long enough that they should have it back paved and smooth to drive on. It's so annoying driving on the rough grooved up road. Plus the dang uneven pavement on the entire road pulls my dang steering wheel everywhere while im driving. At least they fixed the huge pot hole that was right in the middle of the road. Im not looking forward to having to stop for the flagman when they start paving it again but im tired of driving on a rough ass road. Hope they start soon maybe they will do it while we are on spring break in a week that way i don't even have to deal with work while im trying to get to school.

Spring Break

Spring break can't get here fast enough! I am so ready to be able to leave Clemson for a week and have no school to worry about. Its going to be so nice to have a little break from the stress of school and just be able to have fun and relax. I don't really have huge plans for my break just going down to Florida. I'm going to ride my horse probably mostly because the next weekend there is a horse show i'm going to. Also I am hoping that I will be able to sneak away maybe to the beach a day or two. I am definitely going to go out on the river and do a little bass fishing and maybe go down to Tampa and fish a little in Tampa bay. Having a break from school and not having to stress about anything and just being able to relax is going to be perfect and i can't wait!!

Whirlwind Weekend Trip

Thursday afternoon after my last class at 2:10 I am getting in my car and leaving for Florida straight from school.  I am going down to ride my mare and get her ready for a show next weekend. I am really looking forward to getting there and riding but i am dreading that drive.  I will have to drive 7 hours all by myself but i usually jam out to some Texas Country on the way down. I am going to have a super crazy trip because i am getting to Florida late Thursday night and staying until Monday and i will wake up at 5 and leave that way i can get back in time for my 2:30 class.  It is going to be an exhausting weekend but its going to be fun. I might try and sneak over to the Gulf of Mexico to do a little fishing on Saturday.

Florida

In a week I am going down to Ocala, Florida for the weekend to ride my mare and get her ready for a big show. The show is the following weekend in Tampa, Florida and it is going to be a really big show.  The show has 10,000 added money in the class that I'm going to try and show my mare in.  I'm nervous and excited all at the same time, I'm nervous because i really want to do well and win the class and I'm excited because of the chance at winning a class that big.  Also the win would not only be good for my reputation but it would also help me sale my mare because everyone at the show always wants the horse that just won the class. I'm ready for next weekend to get down there and start getting her ready to be shown. I will ride everyday I'm down there and come back Monday the 20th and leave to go back to Tampa on Thursday the 23rd.  It's always fun to go down to Florida not only because i get to ride my mare but also because of the awesome warm weather.  The only thing i dread about going down to Florida is the long drive by myself.

Spring Time

I am ready for spring to be here already and leave this nasty winter rainy weather behind us. We have had so much rain lately which just makes going to class so nasty and dreary. The rain also has made the weather too cold for my blood I like the warm weather. Everyone knows that with spring comes some good fishing which is always fun.  Also with the warmer weather we can go out on the lake more and have more fun.  Plus it is so much more fun to go ride my horse when the weather is warm and you don't have to bundle up to ride everyday. With all this rain lately I haven't got to ride much lately because the arena has been soaked about everyday and right when its about to get dry enough to rain then we get more rain.
